My skills have absolutely nothing to do with this, but not being able to do what others can just because they cracked the demo is frustrating, to say the least. I was trying to get the features i wanted by paying for them, and find out a competitor already is getting them because they did or had something I don't - and can't legally get, at least haven't been able to find after searching extensively. I'm saying that they should make it available now that the crack has happened so that everyone gets what someone illegally is already getting. And that does come down to BMD making it available. This is on Black Magic Design for making software that can be downloaded and then upgraded through a crack, and a retail system that punishes the end user for wanting to do it right.Īll I'm saying is that what is available to someone using a crack or old serial number should be available to a new user. I've never used Resolve before - this is all a first impression after trying to get certain features only available in the Studio version of this software. There is no logical way to turn this around and say it's my fault somehow. And then people here - seriously? I'm a new customer to BMD Resolve, wanting to buy the full and legal version of their software, and I can't do what my competitor is capable of doing because they were able to find a workaround that I shouldn't have to.
Update: Again, only trying to do the right thing and feeling like I'm getting punished for it. Anyone who is waiting and "doing the right thing" is getting royally f*cked here. Why is it that I'm still waiting to get a licensed copy of Resolve 17, and a competitor now has it (a cracked version, apparently), is using it, and taking advantage of it while I am waiting, trying to be legal and do the right thing? WTF, BMD? BMD needs to release it NOW.
